Lirik lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya versi asli
ANTARA News mencatat temuan lirik lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya versi asli dengan tiga stanza (bait) ditulis dan dilagukan pertamakali WR Supratman pada tahun 1928, namun lagu monumental itu dinyanyikan secara serentak bersamaan dengan deklarasi Kemerdekaan RI oleh Soekarno-Hatta dengan satu stanza.
Selama ini, yang kita ketahui hanya Indonesia Raya dalam satu stanza, nah ini yang tiga stanza yang terekam dalam lagu dan gambaran suasana Indonesia dalam film seluloid asli yang dibuat pada bulan September 1944 (tahun Jepang 2604) dan tersimpan di Belanda, ucap pakar telematika, Roy Suryo, di Jogjakarta (38).
Rekaman video seluloid lagu Indonesia Raya versi asli itu berdurasi 3 menit 49 detik yang diproduksi Chuuoo Sangi-In atau semacam lembaga DPR pada September 1944. Roy mendapat informasi itu dari Urip Darmawan yang merupakan keponakan WR Supratman.

Naskah pada koran Sin Po (1928)
Lagu Indonesia Raya diciptakan oleh WR Supratman dan dikumandangkan pertama kali di muka umum pada Kongres Pemuda 28 Oktober 1928 di Jakarta (pada usia 25 tahun), dan disebarluaskan oleh koran Sin Po pada edisi bulan November 1928. Naskah tersebut ditulis oleh WR Supratman dengan Tangga Nada C (natural) dan dengan catatan Djangan Terlaloe Tjepat, sedangkan pada sumber lain telah ditulis oleh WR Supratman pada Tangga Nada G (sesuai kemampuan umum orang menyanyi pada rentang a - e) dan dengan irama Marcia [3], Jos Cleber (1950) menuliskan dengan irama Maestoso con bravura (kecepatan metronome 104).

Secara musikal, lagu ini telah dimuliakan justru oleh orang Belanda (atau Belgia?) bernama Jos Cleber (pada waktu itu ia berusia 34 tahun) yang tutup usia tahun 1999 pada usia 83 tahun. Setelah menerima permintaan Kepala Studio RRI Jakarta Jusuf Ronodipuro pada tahun 1950, Jos Cleber pun menyusun aransemen baru, yang penyempurnaannya ia lakukan setelah juga menerima masukan dari Presiden Soekarno.

Rekaman asli dari Jos Cleber tahun 1950 dari Orkes Cosmopolitan Jakarta, telah dimainkan dan direkam kembali secara digital di Australia tahun 1997 berdasarkan partitur Jos Cleber yang tersimpan di RRI Jakarta, oleh Victoria Philharmonic di bawah pengarahan Addie MS.
